French fashion house Lanvin has opened a new flagship boutique, its first in New York. The 4,000 square foot store is housed within a landmark townhouse on Madison Avenue and 68th Street. Featuring a dramatic 2-story salon with art deco chandeliers, the elegant-yet-whimsical space is outfitted with zebra print rugs, mirrored archways and white lacquered walls. Customers can peruse antique framed photographs from the Lanvin archives on their way to the "shoe library", or check out the jewelry, artfully displayed on bust forms.
